Destination weddings are a wonderful way to bring your nearest and dearest together to meet each other and merge your families and friends over a few days instead of a few hours.

Château Destinée offers your guests a magical experience situated directly on the bank of the Dordogne River. With bird songs in the morning and beautiful sunsets on the water means we always get told by guests they do not want to leave here.

Our all-inclusive package also means planning your wedding is made very simple and we are here to assist you along the way. With inhouse catering, beverage options, decorations, table and chair hire with personalised settings, celebrant and on day support, it is largely all done. We plan your entire stay and for 4 nights or more we offer additional assistance if you wish to plan additional events on site or off site.

One of our unique services is that we offer to help you collect your guests’ contributions. You set the amount you wish guests to contribute and communicate to them that they can contact us to pay. We share a file with you on google drive and you have real time visibility to who has paid and your current balance. This saves you a lot of administration and it is all paid in Euro directly coming off your invoice.

Château Destinée sleeps 58 adults twin share in 26 rooms all with ensuite. We also have within walking distance other accommodation options where another 35 to 40 guests can be. Also, less than a 5min drive additional accommodation options are available.

Our grounds provide various options for your ceremony location, Cocktail reception and Wedding Breakfast giving your wedding a flow around the Château as guests move to each new venue.

The large terrace right on the river is a wonderful venue for your ceremony, cocktails, or meal, and you will absolutely want to use this space. The Château also has the lawn lite up at night providing a wonderful cool place in summer for your wedding dinner. Our party barn provides space for your Band/DJ and plenty of dance floor. The Barn can also be used for ceremony or dinner depending on your season and choice of locations for each phase of your very special wedding day.

We wish everyone to enjoy the events and the Château, and we believe that 100 guests, is the maximum number for everyone to be comfortable here at Château Destinée. If you happen to be unlucky with the weather an alternative plan can be arranged, it can be decided on the day before for most groups and for larger groups a weeks’ notice maybe needed depending on your overall arrangements. Our experienced event planners can help you with these decisions.

Included in your Château rental & example itinerary:

Inclusions: Accommodation, linen including pool towels, 24/7 tea and coffee and continental breakfast each day.

All rooms have a hairdryer, fan and a full-length mirror. Available onsite is an iron and a garment steamer. .

Suites and Apartments have their own tea and coffee facilities.

Suggested itinerary would be as follows:

Arrival - Check in from 3pm

Option to host a welcome afternoon tea with a glass of bubbles (package price on quote)

Welcome dinner - catered

Day 2 - Wedding Day

Included - continental breakfast

Option - Lunch to be provided for guests and room service to bridal suite (package price on quote)

Wedding Canapés - catered

Wedding dinner - catered

Day 3 – Recovery Day

Included - continental breakfast

Recovery BBQ – by the pool, the fire pit or from the barn - catered

Day 4 - check out 11am from bedrooms

*We are working on food options all the time so we can provide sample menus as part of your quote and packages for food and drinks.
